I was the breastfeeding peer helper at Gallia County WIC in Gallipolis, Ohio, from December 2015 to December 2017. I was the Lactation Consultant for Holzer Health System in Gallipolis, OH, from 2017-2024 and am the IBCLC on-call for the 24-hour breastfeeding helpline. I received my Certified Lactation Specialist (CLS) in 2017. I'm the mother of a wonderful little boy named Ethan, who was breastfed for 3 1/2 years. My passion for breastfeeding started when I became a mother and has not stopped even though my son has stopped breastfeeding. I'm currently the secretary and librarian for the Appalachian Breastfeeding Network and helped start the organization with Stephanie.  I successfully obtained my IBCLC in 2018. I graduated from Union Institute and University with a Bachelor of Science in 2019 and started my Master's degree in Nutrition at Ohio University in the fall of 2024.
